Busy Times = Fun Times!!

We've been so busy, for a while now. I love it, not sure about Jason. We have some more busy months coming up. We don't have a free weekend until June (so far). So, here's what we've been up to lately: I've been running like a crazy woman. My race is in 13 days. Pretty crazy. I am ready and excited! Once a month, I make a dinner (and dessert) from another country. This month, I made some polish food (meatballs, mashed potatoes and green beans). Jason made it very romantic outside for us.
I also made some chocolate babka (like from Seinfeld, when Elaine found a hair in her babka).

Last month, we had our friends' Dylan & Kelly over for dinner, games and dessert. Here are me and Kelly

The husbands, Dylan and Jason being their goofy selves.

Me & my husband, being our cute selves.

Kelly & her husband being their adorable selves.

Last month, I made a Greek dinner. Here's the famous baklava (which was the best part of the night).

Mousaka wasn't all that great. No flavor what so ever. No we know, that we don't like this dish.

Last week, we went hiking near the Mt. Diablo area. It was pretty nice. barely anyone was there.
On our way up, Jason almost stepped on this little guy (which ended up getting ran over by a biker). So gross!

Awww!!! We're such love birds!

The scenery was so beautiful! A stream was so quiet and relaxing. Not too many bugs or anything (a few ticks, though).

Here's the elevation, it was pretty steep. In the middle, you can see the top of the mountain. It was difficult, but so worth it! In total, it was almost 7 1/2 miles round trip. We really got our workout in that day!

We've been having so much fun, it's hard to keep track of time. We can't believe it almost May. Summer is almost here, and we're just going to get busier. More blog posts will be coming, I promise.
